Great Boggle-type fun. Game seems to slow/hang iPod touch as you play. Good fun!

This is such a fun game. Best money I spent at the app store. I love word games and hope you make more.

A great word game! Lots of thinking, no rushing, all in a beautiful package.

Simple to get into but complex to beat. Not a timed/rushed experience so you can think and enjoy.

Very good much rather see the classic game bookworm though!

I really like games like this, but in this version the tiles you use just dissapear and new ones show up in their place. I prefer the tiles to be gravity fed and drop down from the top of the board so that you can use some stratagy in your use of vowels. I frequently find myself lacking vowels in certain areas of the board without anyway of fixing it.

If youre a fan of Boggle or other games where you must forms words from random letters, you cant miss with Fire Words. The great thing about Fire Words is that it motivates you to use all of the letters because if you dont, theyll catch on fire, and the game will end. The game also uses the touch interface very nicely -- just drag your finger across adjacent letter tiles to form a word. Perhaps the only cool thing they could have added would be the option to shake your iPhone to randomize the tiles.

This is almost just like the Yahoo game "Bookworm". Very addicting...lots and lots of fun!!!

Game is easy to play, but unless you read the rules - or just figure them out, you wont do very well. Strategy is different than Bookworm - words of 4 and more letters - especially that begin around the perimeter are really helpful - if not necessary. Fun game to fill a few minutes - no way can you stretch out the game for hours like Bookworm - partly because of the nature of the game, also game is hard on battery - rather like playing a video. Game does pick up where you last played if you switch to another app and then back - nice feature.

I bought version 1.0 of this app for $2.99. It’s a fun game and it looks nice, especially the icon. The refresh button takes away 150 points, made in the future there could be a vowel dropper button. It feels little it needs a little bit more, maybe online play levels of difficultly or something, some to help learn add vocabulary. I would really like it if this game would add language support for other Roman character languages, especially Spanish. They would have to add the Ñ. This game is worth the money if there an update to add a little more and very much worth for other language support. Also, I recommend that the developer informs Apple that we need video previews (to see the pretty animations) and demo ware inside iTunes (Because nobody wants to buy a crummy application).

This is a fun app that doesnt demand much time- play it for a few minutes whenever you need a break. A cool feature in a future update would be the addition of a global high score list, not just my own high scores.

This app is pretty good for the price..the only things I would change are: have the tiles drop down when words are made, then disappear; and have a few more vowels! I found it very helpful that the burning tiles have numbers at the bottom, hinting at how many times you have left to use them before disaster strikes. The fact that the tiles just appear in place of the old words stops you from thinking ahead and using strategy, like you would in the game Bookworm. With all that being said, its still a great way to relax and use your brain.

Game is not that hard and doesnt lack strategy: its just right. All you have to do is form words by linking the letters that are close to each other. The longer the word, the better - because every move you do, the letters will start burning.. and when a single letter has burnt out, game is over. Sometimes is just luck - I found myself with a board full of consonants and like 2 As or something... My high score so far is 5900 and Im yet to beat it with this new update (since they made it easier, gotta try asap). Its a good time killer and a great puzzle game!

This game is pretty good and works fine, I agree with another review that it would be better if the tiles fell down though instead of being replaced. Maybe an option to do either? Also a volume control is needed so I dont have to turn down my ringer volume.

I love this game!!! Totally addicting and challenging to my mind! I cant stop playing with it every chance I get I play it .. my poor battery lol

This is a fun little application if you have some time to kill. The added time pressure of having the letters catch fire adds to the challenge. I like the way you can reshuffle the letters on the board in case you need to get close to a vowel or something. Well done app, and the price is reasonable.

All these changes - heat on shuffle, accelerating difficulty, should be options. Changing the rules back and forth is annoying, so I stopped the upgrades.

Once again a 5 star game! Thank you for fixing problems with first update!

Love the game and find it very addictive. If you love the challenge of Scrabble and know many words you will do well at this game.
